This painting was created in memory of Pupo's friend Jasmine from art school. The two attended Marylhurst University in the Portland, OR area and met through fine art classes. Jasmine died of cancer at age 29 in 2017. Her spirit of fire lives on in her friends and family, and the ripples of her time on earth are still expanding. She was really something.
